Our Production Supervisors AreKind of a Big Deal !UniFirst is seeking anenthusiastic and knowledgeable Production Supervisorto join our UniFirst family. As a Production Supervisor, you will be a key player in helping to lead theproduction team and drive top level performance. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday &Sunday off!! Wehave an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’llbe doing:

  • Train, mentor, and guide plant personnel to success whilemaintaining morale and safety. You will be responsible for ensuring adequatelevel of performance, discipline, integrity, and productivity of employees

  • Schedule and ensure an adequate level of trained employees on theplant floor

  • Report and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenanceproblems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays to maintainalignment with budget expectations

  • Perform production reporting on incentives and productivity
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operationalperformance and optimum utilization

  • Work with the location manager to develop or revise standardoperational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance withincompany, federal, and state safety and occupational regulations

  • Implement quality programs communicated by the quality system and qualitypolicy

  • Work with Production Manager to resolve worker grievances orsubmit unsettled grievances to General Manager for action

  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.


  • Qualifications
    What we’re looking for:
  • High school diploma or G.E.Dequivalent is required

  • Must be at least 21years of age or older

  • Two-yeardegree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • 2-4years of related experience and/or training preferred

  • Abilityto define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Abilityto lift up to 60 lbs.

  • Abilityto apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions topractical situations

  • Abilityto read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Abilityto write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Abilityto effectively present information and respond to questions from managers,clients, customers, and general public

  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is required
