Product Engineer - Tampico

Will be responsible for receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity. Assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line. Suggests improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield. Failure analysis related to product issues. Product related issues ECOs, new model development, etc. Work with design team. Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products. Customers BOM analysis and structure definition for production. Safety Requirements and regulations compliance. Engineering Drawings Interpretation of individual parts and assemblies. Request customer for drawing corrections or changes. ECOs implementations. Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis. Work with supply chain to integrate parts. Provide product training to the manufacturing/process engineers. Here is some of what youll need (required) Bachelors Degree (Electronic engineer, mechatronics or related). 5 years of experience in Product engineering. Experience working on electronic manufacturing industry. Advanced English. Experience in Product Lifecycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom). Experience with MRP Systems. Experience with Floor shop systems. Experience being the owner of an account under their charge. Experience leading the process for new product introduction (NPI). Experience in ECOs implementation. Here are a few of our nice to have experiences Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. Experience with Baan V (MRP). Experience with FlexFlow (Floor shop system).
