Responsibilities
  • Inspects Assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures
  • Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions.
  • Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks.
  • Maintains necessary documentation and records.
  • Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
  • Accredited HS Diploma or GED and 0 to 1 year of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies
  • Ability to effectively interact/communicate with all disciplines
  • Working knowledge of Boeing Specifications & Blueprints preferred
  • Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures.
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges
