Prior Authorization Specialist - Maitland

Are you an experienced Medical Professional looking to take the next step in your career?  Do you have prior experience providing/completing medical authorizations for providers/customers? 4 Corner Resources has a new and exciting opportunity to work as a Prior Authorization Specialist with an enterprise level health services company in Maitland, FL that is looking to expand their company!

*Must be able to work till 6:30/7pm Monday - Friday. 


Prior Authorization Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing authorizations for customers/Healthcare offices.
• Communicate via phone with Healthcare offices/specialty pharmacies regarding authorizations, and follow-ups.
• Document case and authorization notes in the system.
• Must meet call center metric standards and deadlines for authorization approval.

Prior Authorization Specialist Qualifications:

• Associate Degree preferred not required.
• 1+ years’ of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in either retail or specialty pharmacy.
• 1+ years’ of experience in the medical/healthcare field (e.g. Medical Assistant or Administrative Assistant for a Dr. Office or Healthcare facility).
• Must have experience with Prior Authorizations.
• Must be open to a call center environment.

Prior Authorization Specialist Specialist Analyst Pay:

• Up to $15.00/hour
