How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision of the Regional Chief of Programme & Planning, the Planning Specialist is accountable for quality assurance, oversight, and technical assistance in planning, implementation and reporting to 24 country offices in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The position supports UNICEF LACRO and country offices to maintain high-quality planning process and products, while systematically strengthening how knowledge management, evidence-based programming and culture of learning are anchored in core established planning and review processes.

S/he will help lead the development, oversight and maintenance of digital workspaces for the regional office and promote and support the use of digital tools to improve online engagements and information sharing. S/he will also contribute to improving the quality, availability, access and use of knowledge on children in the region.

The specialist will also coordinate Regional Office planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes, such as the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the Regional Office Management Plan, Annual Management Plan and Regional Office Workplans, and the preparation of regional office report and analysis.
