PL/SQL Developer - Jacksonville

ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a PL/SQL Developer with a client based in FL. This position is 100% remote provided you work East Coast business hours but there is a preference for those that can eventually work onsite. The Hiring Manager seeks a PL/SQL Developer that has extensive PL/SQL along with SSRS and SSIS.
 
You must work directly on ARC Group’s W2 (no C2C allowed) and have permanent work eligibility (no visas- sorry). 
 
Those who can work onsite once COVID restrictions are lifted will be given preference.  Also, while not needed now, candidates that have Java experience will be preferred due to a need on future projects
 
This is starting out as a 12-month contract and may convert to FTE or extend well into 2021. 
 
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Job Duties:
 

• Responsible for providing DB support with concentration in back-end programming with PL/SQL
• Maintain source code sets and necessary technical documentation and assist the DBAs in overall database maintenance.
• Harness your knowledge of Oracle development to drive implementation of our browser-based, enterprise software product
• Designing schema, tables, views, indexed views, developing stored procedures
• Create complex queries, SSIS jobs and SSRS Reports.
• Will be well versed with the latest PL/SQL language features and have experience dealing with large volumes of data.

 
PL/SQL Developer Qualifications:

 

• 4-6 years of PL/SQL development experience along with Oracle version 12c
• 3+ years of experience with SSIS
• 1+ year of experience with SSRS
• 3+ years of Agile experience
• Must possess expert performance tuning skills and dynamic SQL skills
• Must be willing to jump into anyone’s code at any time to solve the problem
• Must be able to reverse engineer anyone else’s code and be able to modify it to solve issues
• Strong experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning
• Performance tune SQL's, application programs and instances
• 24x7 Production support experience supporting a large scale
• Experience with complex indexing strategies including column store indexing
