This exciting opportunity will require a Pharmacy Technician (Call Center) who can provide a high level of service and attention to their patients. If you are a Pharmacy Technician (Call Center) and you meet the qualifications listed below, please click apply below for consideration.

 

NOTE: candidates should have the ability to work from home (office is tentatively set to re-open in September, but all employees likely won't return until end of year/beginning of next year) - need computer, high speed internet, smart phone, and private work space.

 

Daily Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician:

  • Takes member, Provider and Pharmacy inquiry calls for benefit questions including prior authorization requests
  • Maintains expert knowledge on all Health Net Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Pharmacy benefits and formularies, including CMS regulations as they pertain to this position.
  • Educates the member on their specific pharmacy benefit and offers them options including the submission of a prior authorization request.
  • Process member submitted claims.

 

Requirements of a Pharmacy Technician:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of FL (must have national certification within a year of hire date)
  • 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in PBM, specialty, or retail
  • Experience working with Prior Authorizations preferred
  • Good soft skills!
  • Ability to work either shift needed
  • Computer Skills - Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work from home - computer, smart phone, internet, and private workspace

 

Hours for this Position of a Pharmacy Technician:

  • M-F, any shift between 8:00am-9:00pm (have to be able to work any shift), Will start on one of these shifts: 10:00am-6:30pm, 12pm-8:30pm, or 12:30 - 9:00pm About 1 weekend shift required a month (will either work Saturday OR Sunday, not both)
