PRN Perinatal / OB Ultrasound Technician Opportunity
Perinatal/High-Risk OB/MFM Experience Required

Brandon Regional Hospital is currently accepting applications for a registered Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist (OB Ultrasound Tech) on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. Ultrasound registry and perinatal ultrasound experience required. ARDMS OB/GYN specialty a plus. The Perinatal Ultrasound Tech p
rovides ultrasound services to patients as ordered and follows established standards and practices under the direction of a Perinatologist. He/she will possess a thorough knowledge of congenital heart disease and how it is manifested in the fetus. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in MFM, high-risk OB or an acute-care setting is required.

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
  • Current ultrasound registry required
  • Perinatal ultrasound experience required; fetal echo experience preferred
  • Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) specialty a plus
  • Current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
