Manufacturing Operators - Clearwater

SUMMARY: Kelly Services in partnership with Bausch Health Companies is currently hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a Fortune 500 leader in the medical manufacturing industry located in Clearwater, FL. The goal of this position is to create small, surgically-inserted intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards. The lenses are designed to correct cataracts in eye patients.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs various lens fabrication and inspections duties to include lens machining, lens polishing, finished production inspections and primary packaging • Ensure product meets all acceptable criteria per SOPs • Follow all FDA/CGMP regulations regarding traceability, and safety procedures • Support, encourage and participate in team related activities; report ideas or suggestions to supervisor • Assist in training manufacturing associates using prescribed training methods and tools as assigned by supervisor/management • Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor and manufacturing lead; practice good housekeeping In addition to the listed duties, the associate is normally expected to perform other similar related duties as assigned. Work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week and will continue that cycle.  Day Shift           7am-7pm             $10/hr. Night Shift        7pm-7am             $11/hr.
