Job Summary
A registered professionalnurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment,diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  In addition, the registered professional. Nurseprescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teachingand the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining thestandards of professional nursing.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida StateLicensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility andduration provisions).
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Proficient in interpreting EKG.
  • Two (2) years of related acute care Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
