Network Engineer - Fort Myers

Job Profile Summary

Computer Aid, Inc. is looking for a Network Engineer to join one of our teams in South Florida. The idea resource would be responsible for providing technical and operational management support for all of the network infrastructure across our client's enterprise. Additionally, this individual would help with any other identified design/development needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, Configure and Maintain network infrastructure equipment and hardware routers, switches and firewalls
• Design, planning, creation and engineering of new and existing networks
• Assist with creation of network architecture and designs
• Troubleshooting and correction of network technologies
• Upgrade of network connections
• Creation and editing network diagrams
• Network software and package updates
• Documentation of projects, configurations, and network syntax commands
• Identifying areas for continual service improvement tasks
• Day-to-day support and maintenance of a large-scale multi-site enterprise network

Qualifications

Experience/Education Required

• 5+ years of experience as a Network or Senior Network Engineer
• Palo Alto technologies Installation, configuration and maintenance
• Cisco technologies routers and switches 
• Security technologies (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN and DMVPN).
• WAN/LAN technologies
• Load Balancing on multiple platforms.
• Network problem analysis experience.
• Network management systems and tools
• Experience with TCP/IP protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• Solarwinds experience a plus
• Experience with F5 or similar load balancers

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
