Person chosen for this role, will be responsible to perform functions such as: Install, configure, and support action items on our customer's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems or a segment of a network system (in support of the USSOUTHCOM).. Responsibilities: Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May monitor and test web site performance to ensure web sites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures. Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contribute to deliverables' and performance metrics where applicable. Requirements: 2-10+ years hands-on experience designing, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting networks to include utilizing tools/products such as (but not limited to) Cisco, Netscout, Infoblox, Gigamon RSA, Juniper, VMware, Splunk and Websense technologies. DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Routing/Switching, Security, and/or Data Center certifications. Clearance - Secret (must be willing to upgrade to as high as TS/SCI).
