As a MonitorTechnician, you will assist thenurse and/or physician in providing support to the unit as assigned andsupervised by the nurse. In this important role, you will monitor surveillanceand documentation of cardiac rhythms and will provide communication of patientneeds to the appropriate caregiver.
What you will doin this role:
- You will observe for changes in heart rate, rhythm,or other centrally monitored parameters, reporting significant events to thenurse or Charge Nurse.
- You will admit/discharge patients from monitoringsystem.
- You will maintain accurate telemetry transmittermonitor log books.
Qualifications
What qualificationsyou will need:
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Specialty training is preferred
- Preferred prior experience in healthcare orclinical setting
