Medical Assistant / MA - Ocala

Daily Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant: 

•  They will be taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Looking for a quick learner who is able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Phlebotomy skills, no ports, be able to take blood pressures, and temperatures

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Must have HS Diploma or GED uploaded into files BEFORE starting
• 1+ yrs. experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a busy medical office (40+ patients daily)
• Experience with taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, rooming patients, and taking patient medical history
• Must have experience with Phlebotomy – with at least 20-30 patients per day
• Must have excellent computer skills

Hours for this Position:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00pm
