Daily Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant OR LPN:
Rooming patients Obtaining vitals Administering immunizations and injections Answer phones and other back office duties Medical Assistant or LPN Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. MA Diploma Required- if not Registered or Certified (highly preferred CMA/RMA)- A nationally accredited certification or the ability to obtain a certification within 90 days of hire (Should they convert perm). LPN- Required Active State of FL license 1 yr exp as an MA or LPN Experience working or comfortable working in HIGH VOLUME office, each provider sees about 30+ patients daily and there are 4-5 providers in office Experience working with Pediatrics - Newborn to 18 years old- HIGHLY PREFERRED Room patients, obtain vitals, administer immunizations, injections, and other various back office duties HIGH LEVEL of experience administering immunizations, since this is pediatrics this is the BULK of their visits EMR (they use Centricity) Good typing skills (30 wpm); do not need to test them Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of current medical office procedures. Hours for this Medical Assistant OR LPN Position:
Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
