Education (Degree/Major): High School Diploma or GED required. 4 year degree preferred
Lenguages: English - Spanish
Certifications: OSHA Trainer, CSP designation from ASSE preferred
Work experience: Minimum of 5-7 year envirnmental, health and safety experience in manufacturing environment

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and OSHA/EPA regulations
Develop and implement safety programs and training, including, but not limited to:
Hazard Communications
Control of Hazardous Energy Program (LOTO)
Blood Borne Pathgens (BBP)
Electrical safety
Ladder Safety
Emergency response

Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss events
Provide inmmediate First Aid and coordinate with health care providers for injuries and illness
Assure safety compliance with insurance company requirements
Monitor and control employee exposure to hards
