LH41 - Fork Lift Operator - Haines City

Kelly Services is currently recruiting Forklift Operators for our client in Haines City, FL.  These position are on a Temp to Hire bases and the starting salary is $15.00 per hour.  The potential candidates will be working a "Rotating Shift" which means that you will be working two weeks on 1st shift and two weeks on 2nd shift.  The shifts are from 7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am.  All potential candidates must meet the below requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties. Continuously supports Customer's Employee Personal Practice Policy.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supports Customer's Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace. 2. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.  3. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using a lift. 4. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. 5. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. 6. Scans labels on pallets, rolls, or other containers. 7. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination.  OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: 1. Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. 2. Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition. 3. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. 4. Perform other related duties as assigned. 5. Gain certification on scissor, and/ or boom lifts for the purpose of cleaning the upper areas of the warehouse.  EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Potential candidates please submit your resume to Arleen Ramos - arlr128@kellyservices.com - Why Kelly ® ?
