SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

The Lead EP assists with both pre, intra, and post EP patient care including transports, setting up sterile fields, prepping patients for procedures, circulating during procedures and operation of monitoring equipment as needed.


A 383-bed tertiary hospital serving Manatee county communities since 1973, Blake’s specialty programs include a Level II Trauma Center and one of only six Burn Centers in Florida. In 2018, Blake treated close to 100,000 patients, with services including cardiovascular surgery with TAVR, complex hand repair, cancer care, joint replacement, back surgery and rehabilitation. 

 

Blake is located in Bradenton, on the southern tip of Tampa Bay and adjacent to some of Florida’s most popular beaches including Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island.  In addition to great fishing, dining, golfing and beautiful sunsets, the area boasts one of the largest discount shopping outlets in nearby Ellenton.

 

Blake is an accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center and boasts several Joint Commission disease specific certifications including AMI, Hip, Knee, Sepsis and Stroke. The hospital is also accredited as a Community Cancer Program (CoC) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Center (CARF).  In 2017, the hospital welcomed its inaugural class of Internal Medicine residents, becoming HCA West Florida’s seventh hospital sponsoring GME.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCES certification.
  • Two years’ experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.
  • State of Florida professional license or certification OR RCES registry if not an ARRT, LPN, RT, RRT or Paramedic within 1 year of hire.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support
