LA30 - Machine Operator - Auburndale

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for several Machine Operators for a company in Auburndale, FL.  The potential candidates must meet the below requirements: As a Machine Operator you will produce parts by pulling up specific programs and running them on one of our many computer numerical control (CNC) machines. In addition, as the primary operator of a specific machine, you will be responsible for daily cleaning and daily, weekly, and monthly routine machine maintenance. Be part of our promise to Delivery Quality Part On Time. Essential Functions: Start up and shut down of machine. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Control and adjust machine settings Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools Test operation of machines periodically Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Load and unload parts on and off the machine. Pull up specific programs and run them on the machine. Program new products into machine Select, calibrate, and secure cutting tools into machining aggregates and tool holders. Precisely place raw materials onto machine and ensure material is securely held down. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform basic troubleshooting on machine Change orders and document production data Perform daily cleaning and machine maintenance. Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Engineers, and Production personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
