Job Profile Summary
CAI is looking for an experienced Project Manager to help assist one of our top public sector partners in Tallahassee, FL. Primarily we are looking for a person who's had strong experience with successfully leading large scale IT projects, with a strong preference to leading multiple large-scale infrastructure implementation projects. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include:
- Create, maintain and refine detailed project plans, tracking project schedules and technical performance and leading both the business and technical teams
- Coordinate interaction with the customers, users and stakeholders and to keep the project team focused on the right goals as assigned by the Department
- Develop and maintain project plans and tasks assigned
- Facilitate acceptance testing as required
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis as required to develop project scope
- Develop time estimates in conjunction with the project team
- Documentation development as required to meet project goals
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings as needed
- Conduct risk analysis of project and proposed solutions
- Produce status reports as defined by project
- Comply with Florida Administration Code 60GG-1
- Follow standard processes to remain in compliance with policies and procedures
- Communicate with project teams and other stakeholders
Qualifications
Experience/Education Required
- Bachelor's Degree of equivalent experience
Skills Required
- 5 years of experience leading and managing technology projects.
- 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining detailed project plans
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experienced meeting facilitator
- Experience developing project documentation (budgets, spend plans, schedules, status reports, etc.)
- Experience with risk tracking, mitigation and issue tracking.
- Skilled with MS Project
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Skills Preferred
- Possess a broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud migration. Data Center migration to the cloud a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master or other Scrum certification preferred
- Understand Florida Administration Code 60GG-1 requirements for the State of Florida
- Smartsheet experience
- Familiar with data center or infrastructure technologies
- Experience with managing large outsourcing efforts
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
