Call for expression of interest for selecting Companies to provide Technical Support to CNBV’s SupTech Platform in Mexico

In November 2015, the British Government established a new and much bigger Prosperity Fund than before that may exceed £60 million up to March 2023. The two main objectives of the Financial Services Programme are, on the one hand, to reduce poverty, improve gender equality and support inclusive economic development; and on the other hand, produce greater opportunities for trade and investment between our two countries.
The Prosperity Fund is managed by the British Embassy in Mexico City and supports four main areas: Financial Services, Anti-corruption and Rule of Law, Future Cities, and Energy.
The Financial Services Strand is implemented by DAI, an international development company that works on international development projects.
The objective of the Financial Services Strand is to create a more inclusive and competitive financial services sector, accessible to all segments of Mexican society and new market entrants. The Strand will increase the depth, coverage, and efficiency of financial services in order to support a reduction in poverty, increase productivity, and promote long-term social and economic development.
Subject to the availability of funds, DAI intends to provide one contract to a maximum amount of £ 165,000GBP (one hundred and seventy-two thousand pounds. The expected duration of DAI support or the period of performance is 10 to 12 months.
DAI FS Programme invites eligible Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. In submitting its Expression of Interest, Firms should provide information demonstrating that it has the required and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
