The Reasoning for Complexity Interdisciplinary Research Group (R4C-IRG) is currently seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop and conduct research activities to transform higher education. R4C-IRG is part of the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE), which belongs to Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico’s top private university with 26 campuses. The duration of the position is three years.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Postdoctoral Research associates will conduct research focused on the development of complex thinking competency. They will have the opportunity to publish their research results and represent R4C at external academic events.

The Postdoctoral Research Associate position has these main objectives:

  • To work in interdisciplinary research groups.
  • Collaborate in projects of a full science research ecosystem focused on educational innovation
  • Development of high-impact research that has the potential to transform the education industry
  • Participation in large international consortiums for high-impact projects
  • Collaborate to get grants and funding for the operation of the R4C-IRG
  • Working on IFE’s research activities with national and international stakeholders (government, academic institutions, international organizations, funding organizations, and companies) 
    If you have Doctorate Degree in engineering, business, entrepreneurship, or related discipline to TEC strategy.

    • if you have:

  • Doctorate Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences (particularly Data Science and Artificial Intelligence), Engineering, Business, Design, and Humanities, among other areas.
  • Experience in an Education related project.
  • High level of English proficiency and excellent academic skills.
  • Academic publications record in high-impact journals for the last five years.
  • Excellent research writing skills for publications.
  • Creativity.
  • Lab experience.
  • oral expertise to represent the research groups at meetings.
