Summary of Duties:
The position shall provide support to the Spaceport Integration (SI), Supply Equipment Management Officer and Equipment Manager
Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
- Develop annual inventory schedule and plan for accomplishing physical tagged property inventories, provide summary report
- Assist implementing program control documents to ensure end users have the property knowledge needed to operate government property
- Ensure affected property custodians are informed of planned inventories
- Responsible for reviewing Property Survey Reports and ensuring sufficient information is provided to support a clear understanding of the circumstances surrounding the loss, damage, or destruction of Government property
- Submit a quarterly report summarizing lost or missing property and request relief of accountability for losses or damages
- Manage the Found on Station (FOS) process
- Establish a reporting and monitoring system of internal control deficiencies and associated corrective action plans
- Develop metrics related to internal control goals and objectives for program/project/event audited
- Assist in ensuring Center policies and procedures necessary to comply with the NPR 4100 and 4200, respectively are developed, implemented, and approved by the Supply Officer
- Ensure equipment is physically inventoried
- Ensure equipment, no longer required for the performance of NASA programs, is transferred to disposal
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Preferred undergraduate degree in the related field from an accredited educational institution or equivalent professional experience as defined by the Statement of Work
- At least 5 years of specialized experience
- Preferred, but not required, National Property Management Association certification
- Preferred, but not required, knowledge of the NASA FAR Supplement as it relates to Property and / or Supply Management
- Excellent Microsoft Office product skills
- General knowledge of Government Property Management
- General knowledge of auditing techniques
- Knowledge of the FAR 45.5 and FAR 52.245
Salary requirements:
- Skill dependent; range is $26.51 - $30.35/hour or $55,139.62 - $63,137.61 annually
