Histotechnician or Histology Technologist - Jacksonville

Seeking a full time Histology Technologist or Histotechnician to join a great laboratory in Florida!

Currently seeking an experienced Histotechnologist for our Histology Department in Jacksonville, FL. This position requires someone who is reliable, hardworking, able to work independently and exhibits a strong attention to detail. The schedule will be full time 2nd shift!

To qualify, candidates must have: Excellent Histology skills including proficiency with tissue processing, embedding, grossing, microtomy, special stains and immunohistochemical stains - Florida Licensed Histotechnologist and ASCP Certification required. Must satisfy CLIA standards for grossing surgical specimens. Science Requirement: 12 hours of Biology & Chemistry Combined. Preferred minimum 2 years' experience needed.
