    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Helpdesk Specialist to join our team at Eglin AFB.

    Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

    Performance shall include:

    Software installation and support of commercial software and related upgradesUpdate solutions database with applicable resolutionsProblem solving, hardware/software installation and configuration based on computing standards, and client support for all network and desktopMonitors and enforces all IT policies and proceduresAssist with setting up new users in IDAM and multiple level security LDAP profilesInstalls and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardwareMaintains, upgrades and repairs PCs/laptops and Window desktop applications for all systems

    Experience:

    Minimum of two (2) years of experience in information technology or a related field

    Education:

    BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred

    Certifications:

    Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 1 within 6 months of the date of hire

    Security Clearance:

    Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI EligibilityEligibility for access to Special Access Program InformationWillingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

    Physical Requirements:

    · Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time

    · Must be able to clearly and accurately communicate with customer

    · Must be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy
