Fund Accountant - Miami

<p>Wealth management firm, located in Miami, has a new opening for a Fund Accountant. The firm offers aggressive compensation packages, comprehensive benefits, and an entrepreneurial work environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare NAV, P&amp;L data and Capital Account Statements for funds</li><li>Maintain and review the books and records of the Funds and assigned clients</li><li>Analyze any margin requirements and respond to margin calls for entities under their responsibility</li><li>Calculate and verify management fees, carried interest and waterfalls</li><li>Prepare monthly valuations for the Funds&rsquo; portfolios and review investor capital allocations </li><li>Coordinate with cash management specialists in tracking wire transfers</li><li>Prepare audited financial statements and audit schedules for assigned Funds</li><li>Coordinate tax information for the preparation of income tax returns by outside advisors, K-1&rsquo;s</li><li>Oversee fund cash flow requirements, including coordination of capital calls/subscriptions and capital distributions/redemptions</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>2 &ndash; 4 years of fund, hedge fund or private equity accounting experience</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li></ul><p>Click Apply to be considered or email your resume to: <strong>resume@southfloridarecruiters.com</strong>.
