We are on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. The clerical staff will report back to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals might be interested in this Bookkeeper role if they thrive under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Miami, Florida area.

What you get to do every single day

- Summarize business license and gross receipts

- Keep a check on Accounts Payable

- Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Govern monthly accounting close

- Other distinguished projects when necessary

- Manage Accounts Receivable

- Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Record budget transfers

- Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

- Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

- Draw up cash flow projections, as needed

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Heavy Excel, pivot tables, vlook ups, formulas

- Comprehensive knowledge of Prepare Financial Statements

- Adeptness in Cash Flow Forecasts

- Experience with Cash Flow Analysis

- Knowledge of month end closings

- Practical knowledge of Year-end Financial Statements

- Monthly Financial Reporting experience preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Financial Statements

- General familiarity with Review Financial Statements

- Proficiency in journal entries

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- 5+ years of related experience- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Great attention to detail

- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
