RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and problem solve effectively Develop, track and report on key operational metrics in partnership with business leaders Actively monitor daily business results and anticipate developing trends and potential impacts to future results Maintains large complex financial data and modeling during budget consolidation Interpret results autonomously using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining Strategically analyze reports across all departments to identify gaps or opportunities that drive business improvement Work both independently and in groups in a variety of situations requiring analytical-interpretive, evaluative and constructive thinking Understand and translate business requirements into system requirements incorporating timing, contingencies, and limitations Exercise sound judgment and critical decision making within approved guidelines on business process and system requirements Document workflows, processes and identify areas for process improvement and standardization Promote, engage, and demonstrate intuitive and visual analytics tools to all partners Regularly ensure that reporting delivered to internal customers is accurate, rich in actionable content and useful Liaison with leaders to deliver trend analysis, run rate variances, and cause of changes Support ad hoc analysis and special projects on an as needed basis
Qualifications
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree with quantitative focus, or related required 3+ years financial or operations analyst experience required Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint required
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Advanced experience with SAP strongly preferred Business Analytics tool experience required (PowerBI preferred) Excellent attention to detail, well-organized, highly accountable, and self-motivated Excellent analytical insight, prioritization, and problem-solving skills Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills Experience presenting and analyzing large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g. SQL, Python, VB) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with the perseverance to push high value projects through to completion Developed time management and priority setting skills required to work in an often ambiguous and constantly changing business environment Demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex analysis to all levels within the organization CORECOMPETENCIES
