Facilities/Maintenance Technician

TempForce has a client is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team in Gainesville, FL! You will perform routine preventative maintenance, minor repairs, custodial functions, sanitation control and routine checks for safety hazards. Let us connect you with one of our clients today!

Salary: $10.91/hr
Schedule: M-F 7am – 7pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance and minor repair work for building systems
- Report needs for major facility repairs to supervisor
- Perform sanitation control and routine checks for safety hazards
- May operate mower, weed eater, edger and blower
- Maintain facility grounds as required
- Perform preventative maintenance for various equipment
- Perform manual labor such as: digging, lifting, spraying, etc.
- Move office furniture and equipment
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Equivalent education and work experience may be considered
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Skill in operation and maintenance of equipment and tools
- Ability to perform outside manual labor for extended periods of time
