2020 Companies has partnered with Hewlett Packard to hire highly passionate, tech-savvy, dynamic brand enthusiasts as an Event Specialist Representative (ESR). This part-time role will ultimately be responsible for increasing sales and brand awareness by creating dynamic, informative, and hands-on experiences with prospective consumers at high-traffic retail locations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Description:

  • Drive sales, advocacy and brand awareness of HP Products
  • Actively engage customers delivering concise and compelling demonstrations of HP features
  • Clearly explain key product differentiators to consumers
  • Make significant impact on sales and improve the customers’ buying experience while intercepting store foot traffic
  • Build and maintain proper brand presence through interaction & in store merchandising of HP products
  • Generate in store buzz through passion and engagement for the HP Brand
  • Build strong professional relationships with all in store personnel
  • Ensure that HP in store displays are clean, functional, and demo ready
  • Gather competitive intelligence and report on specific tactics including price moves, new products and
  • merchandising materials
  • Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
  • Maintain knowledge of all HP products within location in order to be a subject matter expert onsite
  • Additional miscellaneous duties as assigned

    • Performance Measurements:

  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
  • Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints

    • Qualifications:

  • Must be tech savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology
  • Retail sales experience is a plus
  • Independent, full of energy, and motivated team player in a fast paced environment
  • Impeccable oral, verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Outgoing and friendly working demeanor with store associates, customers and co workers
  • Ability to communicate effectively in 1:1 and small group settings in a busy retail environment
  • Must own a Smartphone for the purposes of timecard, visit reporting and in aisle training delivery ($25/ mo reimbursement provided)
  • Ability to work a flexible part time schedule, Saturday and Sunday required
  • Ability to lift, carry and setup a portable demonstration table and potential customer giveaway items to and from your vehicle and assigned store location(s)
  • Reliable transportation capable of holding the necessary items from your home to assigned store location(s
  • Ability to lift and carry PC and Printer boxes to assist customers and set small displays as needed
  • Bi-lingual is plus
  • Has a “do whatever it takes” attitude and positive mindset
