Job Description:
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. cleaning of public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary, administrative offices, and physician areas to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment for staff, patients, physicians and visitors. This position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of infectious diseases.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Ensures proper sanitation of medical equipment as required. Clean windows and mirrors Clean and supply restrooms Remove waste and empty trash Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies Organize janitorial storage areas Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance Minimum Qualifications
Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language.
MUST have HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE/GED MUST pass a 10 panel Drug Screening and background check Flexibility (3 shifts available) Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Moderate physical efforts are required. Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching.
