Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a  fun, compassionate, dependable Direct Care Professional to work with a fun, expressive lady. She loves to go out in the community and loves her arts and crafts. Someone with some behavioral experience would be best. While in the home, assistance in adult living activities would be needed. Example: assisting in and out of shower, meal prep, light house chores.

CRN is committed to helping Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. We are looking for dedicated direct care professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

This is an independent contract position for Personal Supports and starts at $10.50.

The schedule would be Mon-Fri 930a-3p.

You will be a good fit for this position if you :

  • Provide proven 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities (this is a must). It can be professional or personal experience.
  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Have a Valid Drivers license 
  • Can pass a level 2 Background check
  •  Are 18 years of age or older 
  • Have a positive and contagious energy 
  • Demonstrate patience and compassion
  • Enjoy working with children, ideal experience would be working with a child with autism

    • Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

  • Encouraging and supporting the child during after-school activities, homework, etc. 
  • Meal/snack preparation 
  • Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment 
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks 
  • Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, doctor appointments 
  • Promote communication, choice, independence and socialization 
  • Complete daily progress notes

    • Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid drivers license 
  • Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
