Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG), a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking an exceptionally talented SENIOR DATA ANALYST to join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE HIGHLY DESIRED.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will provide data analytics support to develop a monthly My HealtheVet Feedback Report that aggregates and summarizes Veteran and stakeholder feedback for the My HealtheVet Portal, including any additional digital health technologies integrated with the My HealtheVet Portal, from multiple sources. Currently, feedback for the My HealtheVet Portal is obtained from the following sources:

  • OCC Help Desk
  • My HealtheVet Coordinators in the Field
  • American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Survey Data
  • Survey of Healthcare Experiences of Patients (SHEP) Survey Data
  • In the My HealtheVet Feedback Report, the Data Analyst shall synthesize the aggregated data to identify themes, trends, and to provide actionable feedback and recommendations to the business and technical teams.

    Required Minimum Qualification

  • BS/BA degree
  • 8+ years’ experience
  • Exceptional experience with SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Power Point and other tools
  • Experience working with and briefing VA senior leadership
  • Experience presenting demos to customer
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience working with senior management to understand and document business strategies and requirements
  • Maintain relationships, define, document and improve business processes
  • Facilitate and lead the activities in developing value-added processes and solutions that drives customer satisfaction
  • Apply or create the appropriate tools to effectively understand and manage the business
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall company success
  • Must possess or qualify for award of a Public Trust (MBI)
