US10832 Job Description Details This is a remote opportunity, the incumbent does not need to live in the state of Florida. Job Description: Key support role in providing ongoing U.S. Customs compliance for HSNi’s inbound supply chain. Includes, but is not limited to, CBP, ADD/CVD, FDA, and FWS entries. Provides performance reporting to all levels in the Operation Administration Department with primary emphasis on Operation Administration Management Reporting (both summary level and exception reporting). This position requires the ability to work in a continually changing operational environment. Responsibilities: Basic understanding of the First Sale program with U.S. Customs Determine the harmonized tariff classification of products and whether or not they are subject to ADD/CVD or other government agencies. Entry documentation auditing. Assign FDA product codes. Communicate with carriers, customers, CBP and other parties to facilitate the release of imported merchandise as well as relay the entry status of the imported merchandise. Provide technical expertise to internal and external customers regarding 19 CFR laws & regulations. Facilitate post entry adjustments and protests with HSNi’s Customs broker as well as tracking the decision from U.S. Customs Request binding rulings from U.S. Customs Special projects as defined by management. Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience High school diploma 2-5 years Customs Compliance Skills Proficient in MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent verbal, written and quantitative skills Outstanding organizational ability Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Thrives in a fast pace, deadline specific atmosphere Ability to work with all levels of internal and external management Flexible, willingness to alter schedule to meet goals and deadlines Strong, independent, self starter capable of leading others to achieve results #LI-AC1 About HSN, Inc.
