Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures anddelivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functionsin the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with othermembers of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluatesnursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resourceperson for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’svision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience andclinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • American Red Cross orAmerican Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) andcertification.
  • American Red Cross orAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) andcertification.
  • 2 years of experience in Perioperative setting
  • Ability to communicateeffectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languagespreferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • One  year of AcuteCare Nursing experience preferred.
