Kelly Services is currently seeking a Development Scientist in Miami, FL  to work a contract assignment 4  month duration for one of our top clients.  Kelly is a full service workforce solutions provider to 98% of the Fortune 100™ companies. We provide employment to more than 700,000 people annually and we deal with some of the largest and best companies both nationally and locally.  Primary Responsibilities includes:  We are looking for a dynamic Development Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be scientific minded, able to read and thoroughly comprehend scientific literature; write scientific protocols and reports following established standards, practices and procedures; and exercise independent/correlated analytical judgment. Prior experience performing various clinical laboratory tests to obtain data is a plus. Experience with IVDR, regulatory requirements, clinical regulations, and creation of technical files is highly preferred. Qualifications:Required Education BS degree in the biological sciences, microbiology, immunology, chemistry or medical technology with 3+ years of relevant direct experience. MS degree in a scientific discipline with 1+ years of direct experience. PhD degree in a scientific discipline with 1+ years of direct experience. Relevant direct experience includes performing scientific literature searches, comprehending scientific literature, and writing scientific protocols and reports following established standards. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: 2+ years of General Clinical Laboratory experience having a combination of clinical laboratory and either clinical research laboratory or in-vitro diagnostic / biotechnology / Pharmacology FDA regulated laboratory experience. MT or CLS ASCP or equivalent certification/license - highly preferred. Knowledge and experience in CAP inspections a plus. Prior R&D and/or clinical experience in urinalysis, hematology, immunoassay, clinical chemistry, or flow cytometry a plus. Reagent or controls development experience is a plus. APPLY NOW!
