Growing Jacksonville company with a family like atmosphere is looking for a qualified Cherry Picker who is willing to learn other aspects of the warehouse. This is a temporary to hire position.

The pay for this position is $13.00 to $14.00 per hour. This position is located off of Philips Hwy near the Emerson intersection.

Responsibilities:...
??the safe operation of all equipment, including fork lifts, pallet jacks, dock levelers, ladders, safety equipment, mixing equipment, pallet wrapping tools and hand tools
??the timely and accurate receiving, storing and shipping of materials, including physical count and documentation records, such as shipping and receiving records
??the safe storage of materials, including consideration of weight and stability of the packaging on a pallet
??the identification, elimination and immediate formal reporting of all observed hazardous or unsafe conditions, particularly including those involving equipment, facilities and storage procedures
??the maintenance of the Distribution Center facilities in a clean and orderly appearance, including interior and exterior spaces
??the preparation of the Distribution Center for, and the participation in, the physical inventories of the Distribution Center, which inventories are normally done twice a year on a prescheduled weekend basis
??the ordering of Distribution Center supplies, to include strapping tape, shipping labels, and paper goods for general use

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year recent cherry picking experience
Must be able to work in a team environment with a good attitude
Must be able to communicate and interact with Customers

You will be responsible for pulling orders and preparing them for shipment as well as receiving them in. You will be using a cherry picker and will be taught how to use other powered industrial trucks and can become certified.
