SHIFT: Nights (rotating weekends)SCHEDULE: Full-time
Fort Walton Beach Medical Center (FWBMC) is a 267-bedfull-service hospital with over 200 of the most highly respected and qualifiedphysicians in the area. Qualifications
- Associates degree or Nursing Diploma required
- BSN is preferred.
- National Certification
- State of Florida RN License required. If contact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- BLS – AHA Healthcare provider certification required upon hire
- ACLS within 90 days of hire.
- A minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Acute care experience preferred
- National Certification preferred
- Clinical expertise
- Exemplary leadership skills
- Tactful communication skills and the ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
- Supervision, delegation, conflict management and team building skills.
- Flexible and resourceful and able to make decisions quickly
- Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician’s orders
- Basic computer skills
