Services include medical and surgical inpatient units, intensive care, medical cardiology, telemetry, cardiac catheterization, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women’s services including labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary services, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and 24/7 emergency care. Oviedo Medical Center is located at the intersection of Red Bug Lake Road and State Road 426.

Oviedo Medical Center is currently seeking a Certified Central Sterile Tech to join our Sterile Processing team.  This position will be PRN, As Needed.

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to provide aseptic supplies and equipment to be used in patient care by utilizing the proper processing of instrumentation and supplies, i.e. cleaning, sterilizing, and storage.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education: Graduate from approved Central Sterile Technician program. 

License: CRCST

Experience: 5 years

Training: Current BLS or BLS Instructor (3/2016)

Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
