CDL A Driver - Pinellas Park

The Warehouse Driver transports, loads, and unloads raw materials between the 2 company locations.

This position will require some basic warehouse help and a clean driving record.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Documentation Batch record paperwork. -Driving Log Book. -Receiving Logbook

Warehousing-Accurate and timely completion of pulling materials needed for production-Receiving daily shipments using procedures, unscheduled activity

Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).

-Distribute raw materials, packaging components, parts, and supplies to production areas, based on information from incoming requisitions or batch records

- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover

Fine dust hazard. Dust masks are required. Cleaning-Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Protection: -Protective clothing is required in this area. (long sleeve, pants)-Any other protective devices will be provided by the company

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Requires basic addition, multiplication, and division skills to calculate product counts

Experience Working knowledge of production and warehouse operation, typically resulting from 2 years of experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Heavy lifting required

Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English. Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and forklift in congested areas. Must have physical ability to work on feet for a full shift, regularly lift and carry heavy containers, and perform all duties of the job in a safe manner. FL Driver’s License, CDL A. Clean Driving Record. Must obtain a forklift certification within six months of attaining a position. Pallet jack training.
