Kendall Regional Medical Center is a 417-bed, full-service, acute hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive care in the community including trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with two full service free-standing ER facilities, one in Doral and the other at The Palms Town & Country.

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for working as a team member with other Cardiovascular Laboratory personnel and physicians in providing the technical expertise necessary to perform those procedures required in the Cardiovascular Laboratory.  The maintenance of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, in all respects, lies with each staff member.  He/she is responsible for providing a safe and meaningful service to the patient and physician.   To this end, he/she must be familiar with all of the equipment involved in performing such duties and be able to operate such equipment when required.  He/she must have knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique. 

 

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.AA degree or proof of equivalent college hours, in health science, natural science, nursing, biomedical engineering, or any other programs with primary science content, or
  • BS degree or AA degree from two year accredited cardiovascular programCertified by NSCPT, or CCI (C-CVT), (RCVT) or (RCIS) or (ARRT)
  • Current BLS with American Heart Association
  • ACLS License preferred (obtains within six (6) months of employment and maintains current)
