TheCardiopulmonary Coordinator is an individual who demonstrates supervisor skillsand knowledge in the management of all types of patients (acute and chronic)ranging from “newborn” to “geriatric” population. Strict interdepartmental developmentand interpersonal skills are required to effectively provide the leadership andsupport to maintain working relationships within the various departments of theHospital. Constant evaluation and monitoring of services assures quality careto the patient.
Qualifications
- Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required.
- Graduate of an AMA approvedrespiratory care educational & training program of the equivalent thereof/andis licensed by DPR and NBRC. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- National Boardfor Respiratory Care credential preferred.
- Supervisory/charge experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU & blood gas analysis experience, practices of Pulmonary/Respiratory Services and the basic sciences related to each.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- American Heart Association ACLS,PALS and NRP required, or obtain within 60 days of hire.
