This Business Project Manager position is within the Product Innovation and Execution Program Management organization. This role supports the project management needs related to post-acquisition company integration. The Project Manager is responsible for the leadership of projects that are cross functional and have a higher degree of complexity. This role will be dedicated to their assigned projects and manage them independently, as well as in partnership with Program Manager. The Project Manager will lead integration workstream projects with a strong focus on achieving predefined integration objectives. They will act as a subject matter expert on post-acquisition integration process and provide leadership on assigned workstreams by providing structure, milestone planning, timeline follow-up and resource planning. Ensure no gaps in communication within and across workstreams. Act as a change agent on key initiatives across the organization. Serve as the point of contact for assigned workstream updates, progress and issues. The Project Manager together with the leadership is directly responsible for delivery of assigned projects within acceptable timeframes and quality standards. Lead efforts focused on applying rigor in methodologies to structure and implement projects that align with Business Unit plans, Customer strategic initiatives, or Process Improvement efforts. Act as change agent to foster a customer-centric, quality-oriented culture while driving measurable business improvements. Use enterprise change management principles in projects. Accountabilities: 1. Manage all phases of the project per the Product Development Process or Project Lifecycle Process. 2. Deliver assigned projects on schedule aligned with the critical needs of the business vertical or external customer 3. Proficient in all aspects, identifying, analyzing, tracking and monitoring, of the Project Management Body of Knowledge: Scope, Time, Risk, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Procurement and Integration. 4. Construct the Work Breakdown Structure for the project; demonstrate proficiency in using project management software tools. 5. Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule. 6. Documents the necessary project artifacts, such as schedules and work plans, estimates, issues tracking and status reporting, to manage the project lifecycle. 7. Coordinates and facilitates project meetings and negotiates with staffing managers for project resources and other project needs. 8. Provide guidance to other RISK Solutions Management organizations on project management. 9. Ability to travel and manage project development across a geographically diverse engineering organization. 10. Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures. 11. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and regulations. Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree required or 7 years of equivalent experience; MBA preferred -At least 5 years of project management experience -Technology knowledge- training and experience/ practice of implementing technology-enabled solutions -PMI certification preferred -Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred -Enterprise Change Management—Prosci’s ADKAR Certification preferred -Experience in presenting to executive level audiences -Ability to operate independently and innovate -Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization, interacting, influencing, negotiating effectively with all levels of leadership and peers -Successfully demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, with frequent and substantial priority changes, challenging timelines and major resource constraints is desired -A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives -A take-charge and decisive person capable of leading large scale initiatives -Professionalism and strong communication skills -Experience with MS Office, and/or project planning software preferred -Travel may be required Explore our passion for discovery Global companies and governmental entities rely on us to solve their most complex data challenges.
