SHIFT: No Weekends

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Our cases are performed Monday-Friday which means NO nights, NO weekends, or On-call will be required. Operational Duties:
  • Coordinates businessoffice employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed.
  • Responsible for theaccurate and timely completion of chart preparation, data entry, the insuranceverification process, and pre-certification as required by insurance plans, andcollections.
  • Responsible for theproper completion of duties for staff in designated areas.
  • Works with the nurse manager and/or nurse coordinator to ensure daily schedule is streamlined.
  • Maintains blockedschedule list as facility process requires.
  • Responsible foropening or closing procedures of facility based on hours worked. 
  • Reconciles daily front office collections.
  • Maintains a log forthe Center front desk petty cash fund.
  • Serves as back up forbusiness office positions when needed.
  • Assists otheremployees when time allows and completes other duties as assigned. 
  • Performs routine clerical and administrativefunctions, including answering incoming phone calls.
  • Other duties as assigned based on businessoperational needs.

Qualifications

Experience:

 

·    Minimum(2) years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e.ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office) preferred.

·    Leador supervisory experience preferred.

 

Certification/License:

 

·    Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required as determined by facility practices.
