Assembler/ Production Associate - 1st Shift - Orange Park

Kelly Services is seeking Assemblers/ Production Technicians for a global oil and gas manufacturer in Jacksonville, FL.These are 40-hour per week, long term contract positions (with potential for temp to perm).Pay: $15/ per hourShift: 1st shift, M-F Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Assembles components per bill of material requirements.* Perform functional testing on assemblies.* Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.* Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.* Prep assemblies for shipment.* Product inspection of finished products, assemblies and compounds for good manufacturing/laboratory practices (GMP/GLP) to verify product meets specifications and are free of damage or defects.* Discard or reject products, material and equipment not meeting specifications Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations and work for conformance to specifications.* Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.* Perform incoming inspection of items as needed to reduce backlogs.* Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes.* Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.* Comply with EHS regulations & policies.Qualifications:* High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.* Some mechanical background.* Require ability to operate forklifts and other material moving equipment.* Knowledge of machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.* Ability to follow instructions.* Ability to work with minimal supervision and instructions.* Experienced with specialty Hand tools, IE Micrometers/ Calipers/ GD & T Apply today for immediate consideration for open positions!Please note - these positions are being recruited for by a virtual Kelly recruiter, not your local branch office.
