We are seeking anAnesthesia Technician to join our busy fast-paced Surgical Services team. Youwill prepare anesthesia instruments, equipment, supplies, and drugs foruse throughout the Department of Surgery.  If you are a caring andcompassionate professional, come join our growing our team of friendly surgicalprocessionals.

The shift for this position is 12:30 - 9:00PM.

Other responsibilities mayinclude: 

• You will set up linesand equipment for surgical procedure. 
• You will troubleshootanesthesia machinery.
• You may assist withinsertion of lines, intubation and pain blocks. 
• You will stockanesthesia carts, assist with inventory control of supplies andpharmaceuticals. 
• You will assist ingathering data for Quality Improvement. 
• You will assist the nursingstaff as needed.
• You will assist the teamwith the decontamination and cleaning process. 

Job qualificationsinclude:

• High school diploma orGED required
• 6 months to oneyear of experience  as an Anesthesia Tech required
• Related certificationsin anesthesia equipment preferred
• Strong communication,interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Able to work in afast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform workthat requires frequent standing, bending, reaching and lifting of 25 lbs.
