Accounts Payable Manager - Delray Beach

Robert Half Accounting and Finance is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for one of our clients in Palm Beach County. This position will:

• Provide hands-on supervision and oversight of the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of invoice
- 5+ years management experience, hands on, high volume who can step up to lead, guide, and direct team
• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with Company policies
• Full Cycle AP and designating areas of responsibility to team; understanding general accounting and working knowledge of prepaids vs accruals
• Experience with implementing a system and making recommendations on which platform to utilize that would best work for the industry and business needs
• Providing customer service to internal business partners
- Exceptional written & verbal communication
- Identifying risks and communicating in timely manner to be preemptive
• Providing internal and external audit assistance as required
• Perform special projects as assigned
• Planning, analytical and problem solving
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Intermediate excel and large ERP - (Oracle, SAP)

Associates and/or Business Degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years in full cycle AP
5+ years in Management experience while being hands on
High volume / Fast paced
Large ERP (Oracle or SAP)
General Accounting working knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication
