Accounting Manager (Part-Time) - Miami

<p>Private Equity Firm, based in Miami, FL, is looking to hire an Accounting Manager on a Part-Time basis for about 15 - 20 hours a week. This will be a permanent position and you will have the flexibility to work remotely from your home and come to the office when needed.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with financial statement preparation for multiple entities on a quarterly basis</li><li>Participate in the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations</li><li>Record all bank transactions and activities for the various entities</li><li>Reconcile multiple bank accounts for several entities </li><li>Enter all AP invoices and prepare weekly cash disbursements for review and approval</li><li>Assist the accounting team in the budgeting, forecasting and annual planning process</li><li>Assist with special projects as assigned by upper management</li><li>Record operating and investment transactions</li><li>Ensure all investments are recorded correctly as per underlying documentation</li><li>Reconcile activity and balances to 3rd party information</li><li>Provide assistance to outside tax preparer</li><li>Assist with HR/Payroll related tasks including updating of personnel files, review of timesheets, and bi-weekly payroll submission</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting</li><li>5-10 years of accounting experience</li><li>QuickBooks and Advanced Excel experience</li><li>Private equity, wealth management or financial services industry experience is preferred</li></ul><p>Apply to be considered or email your resume to: <strong>resume@southfloridarecruiters.com</strong>.
