Accounting Manager, Latin America - Miami

Growing Biopharmaceutical company is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis to focus on their Latin American accounting practices. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all accounting and reporting processes in the region and will operate with an existing model to ensure compliance with all local and corporate accounting standard and policies. The Accounting Manager be participating, overseeing and reviewing the accounting monthly and annual closing process in order to achieve the deadlines set by Corporate Finance; implement and monitor controls for performance KPI’ s, vendor accounts, accounts payable, etc.; and oversee the Accounts Payable process in Oracle. Someone with past public accounting experience, Oracle knowledge, and previous experience with Latin America accounting standards will excel in this position!

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’ s degree
• CPA
• Experience with regional accounting in Latin America
• 5-7 years’ experience with at least 3 years in Public Accounting
• Understanding of both GAAP and local Latin America accounting standards
• Softwares: Oracle and MS Office Suite
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish and Portuguese

Preferred:

• MBA
• Biotech or pharma industry experience
