Accounting Clerk - CPA office

 

  • Must have at least 3 years minimum experience previously in accounting and/or tax background.
  • Are you familiar with Quickbooks Desktop and Online version, Excel, and word?
  • Do you have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting?

Local forward thinking and growing CPA firm looking for an Accountant who is technology advanced, high-energy, and self-motivated to join their team! Responsibilities:

  • We partner with our clients to help them stay competitive and to stay ahead of the many changes and requirements to be in and stay in business. As a part of our team you will prepare, and review staff work for a variety of clients.
  • Assist with and prepare tax returns and financial statements and payroll reporting.
  • Provide and review accounting and tax work for clients.
  • Assist with employee and client training.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years previous experience in accounting and tax (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent or earning, CPA or working towards
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
  • Detail and deadline-oriented, willingness to learn and adapt
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, assertive and take initiative
  • Desire to grow with the firm
  • Good communication and customer relation skills
